Teaches engineering design, modeling and practical applications
Research
Jeff studies fluid mechanics in biological systems, focusing on modeling blood flow in hemodialysis access circuits. He uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) to investigate the effects of fluid properties and access construction on access development and dysfunction.
Biography
Jeff Krampf joined the faculty at Washington University in 2019, after working as a graduate researcher for four years. Prior to coming to Washington University, he worked as a project development engineer at Control Technology and Solutions in St. Louis, MO (2013-2015), and as a process engineer at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab (2011-2013).
