Research
Professor Vahey’s research focuses on developing imaging methods and microfluidic technologies to understand infectious diseases, with an emphasis on studying how viruses like influenza A navigate and shape their hosts in order to replicate.
Biography
In March 2018, Professor Vahey joined Washington University in St. Louis from the University of California, Berkeley, where he is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Bioengineering. He has received numerous awards, including the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Career Awards at the Scientific Interface grant.
