Biography
Tsitsi Madziwa Nussinov is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Systems Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, where she also serves as the Master's Program Coordinator. She teaches electrical and electronic circuits, vector calculus and dynamics of physical systems, and the semiconductor fabrication laboratory. She is also a Research Scientist in the Department of Physics, where her current research interests include experimental gravitation, theoretical astrophysics, and applications of machine learning to plasma physics.
Prior to joining the ESE faculty, she conducted research in experimental gravitation and theoretical astrophysics at Washington University. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where her work included the development of an electron-beam thruster, theoretical and experimental investigations of instabilities in magnetized plasmas, and spectroscopic diagnostics of atmospheric-pressure plasmas.
