Research
Yixin Chen's research interests are in the general areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, optimization, and computational biomedicine. He is particularly interested in human-AI collaboration, deep learning, and their applications.
Biography
In September 2005, Professor Chen joined the faculty at Washington University in St. Louis. He has a number of awards including the Microsoft Research New Faculty Fellowship and the Department of Energy Early Career Principal Investigator Award. Professor Chen also serves his professional societies as a programming committee member, fund reviewer and National Science Foundation review panelist. He is an IEEE Fellow.
