Biography

Dorothy Wang joined Washington University in St. Louis in 2020 as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Systems Engineering. Before that , she was a Principal Physics Scientist at Halliburton in Houston, Texas, working on fiber-optic subsurface diagnosis. She received her BS degree from Dalian University of Technology in China and PhD degree from Virginia Tech, both in Electrical Engineering. She has extensive research experience in fiber optic sensing and practical experience in sensor implementation and field test.
