Giammar receives outstanding teaching award from AEESP
Daniel Giammar has been recognized for his contributions to engineering education by the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors
Daniel Giammar, the Walter E. Browne Professor of Environmental Engineering, has been awarded the 2020 Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors' (AEESP) Award for Outstanding Teaching in Environmental Engineering & Science.
The award recognizes professors who make outstanding contributions to the teaching of environmental engineering. Giammar will be recognized at the AEESP Meet & Greet, which is scheduled to take place in October.
Earlier this year, Giammar received the Outstanding Professional Engineer (PE) in Education Award from the St. Louis Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers.
With more than 800 members in universities around the world, the AEESP aims to improve education and research programs, encourage graduate education and support professional engineers by serving as an advocate to the government and the public.
