Research
Hong Niu has a long-standing interest in new biomaterials and drug delivery, stem cell transplantation for tissue regeneration, and biomaterials-driven immunomodulation. She has over ten years of experience in polymeric biomaterials related techniques.
Biography
Hong joined the Guan laboratory in 2015 as a PhD student at The Ohio State University after completing a master’s degree at the University of Florida. She earned her PhD in 2018, then was a postdoctoral research associate in the Guan laboratory at the Washington University in St. Louis from 2019-2022. Her bachelor's degree was in polymer science and engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
