Please provide your lab and description of research.
My research lies in experimental and computational biomechanics and biomaterials to study human pregnancy. My long-term goal is to advocate for the importance of engineering-driven solutions within the realm of women's health and the vital role of the scientific community in pushing the boundaries of technology to promise a better quality of life for women during and after pregnancy.

Did you participate in summer research prior to your graduate degree? If so, when and where did you complete your research?
I've been fortunate to pursue summer research at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

What played into your decision to get a graduate engineering degree?
I'm pursuing a graduate degree to develop tools that can improve women's health- an area that urgently needs better diagnostics and treatments.

What advice would you give to a new student?
Follow your passion in research, even if it leads you down an unconventional path. The most meaningful and impactful work often comes from what truly excites you.

What campus activities or groups would you recommend to a new student?
Attending all events held for graduate students!

What are your plans for the future?
I'm interested in entrepreneurship, especially in the growing field of femtech. I hope to translate my research into practical tools, like smart diagnostic platforms or wearable monitors, that can empower patients and improve access to maternal healthcare worldwide.
