Northwest Missouri State University
What played into your decision to get a graduate engineering degree?
I wanted a degree that was versatile for the industries that I tend to move in.
Why did you pick WashU?
WashU is a top university that I consider on the same level as an Ivy League. There is also a strong alumni network that I have been utilizing in my professional career.
What is your favorite thing about St. Louis?
The Chinese food and architecture. There's lots of history in St. Louis and was once considered for the nations capital.
What advice would you give to a new student?
Please take your time and use a schedule. Do not overburden yourself with lots of classes and activities. Get acclimated to school before spreading your wings.
What campus activities or groups would you recommend to a new student?
Get in groups that relate to what you're in school for and join groups that relate to your hobbies.
What are your plans for the future?
I'd like to get a job as a Security Architect and get into technology related research. I wouldn't mind being an adjunct professor. And eventually becoming a CISO.
