Research
Takayuki Dan Kimura's main research interests focus on human computer interface based on the "silicon paper" technology (pen user interface) and the visual programming technology. He served as principal investigator of the Kumon Machine Project.
Biography
Professor Kimura began his career at the Central Research Laboratory, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, from 1960–1965. He became Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Delaware in 1971.
He joined the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in 1978.
