Professional Experience
Saeed Akbani, is an information systems leader with over 30 years of experience in product development and consulting. Under his leadership, Data Dynamics consulting practice grew 25% year over year between 2015 and 2020, during which time, it added many brand names to its portfolio of clients. Prior to this he worked for ESCO Technologies, a worldwide leader in smart grid technologies and video surveillance, where as a leader of the software organization, he oversaw the development of the largest central managed video surveillance system in the world. He has also held positions at other world class organizations like PwC, IBM, and EDS, where he worked with customers helping them create value through cost cutting and revenue enhancing initiatives.
Akbani brings to the table his expertise, which is a unique blend of strong technical experience, analytical skills, and sound business knowledge. He advocates and practices strategic planning as well as tactical implementation. His last employer greatly benefited from his strong negotiation skills, where in the first two months of employment, he was able to bring the supplier rates significantly down resulting in cost savings of 20%, effecting project completion within budget.
