Biography
Yan Yu will join Washington University in St. Louis as the Art Krieg Professor of Chemistry and of Biomedical Engineering in Fall 2025. Prior to that, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Indiana University-Bloomington since 2012, progressing from Assistant Professor to Professor in 2023. She earned her BS in Chemistry from Peking University (Beijing, China) in 2004, and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign in 2009. She completed her postdoctoral training at the University of California at Berkeley from 2009 to 2012.
