Jha lab presents four talks at conference
Ziping Liu and Zitong Yu in Abhinav Jha's lab presented four talks at the recent annual meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging
Doctoral students Ziping Liu and Zitong Yu from the lab of Abhinav Jha, assistant professor of biomedical engineering and of radiology at the School of Medicine, presented four talks on computational nuclear medicine imaging at the recent annual meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Each of these talks were then highlighted in the Basic Sciences Summary session of the Physics, Instrumentation, and Data Sciences council. One abstract, top-scored in the data sciences category and was considered for the selective Young Investigator Award. These abstracts detail his lab's research in developing medical imaging solutions that integrate physics and artificial intelligence for early prediction of therapy response in lung cancer and measuring severity of Parkinson's disease. The work was the result of collaborative efforts with researchers across the departments of biomedical engineering, radiology and neurology.
