Giammar, Jun receive AEESP service awards
Engineering and Science Professors for their work hosting the organization’s conference
Daniel Giammar, the Walter E. Browne Professor of Environmental Engineering, and Young-Shin Jun, professor of energy, environmental & chemical engineering, recently received distinguished service awards from the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP).
Giammar and Jun were recognized for their work hosting the AEESP Research and Education Conference at Washington University in St. Louis. The two-day conference welcomed hundreds of scholars and academics to campus to discuss new developments in environmental engineering.
The AEESP is a volunteer organization that aims to strengthen and advance the discipline of environmental engineering by providing leadership, promoting cooperation among academics and serving as a liaison between its membership and others.
